The hotel is situated a short distance from public transportation, making it a convenient spot for exploring the area. the Japanese-style rooms offer a unique cultural experience and a beautiful view of the city. Breakfast options are available and Japanese-style is the most recommended option.
The lack of internet throughout the hotel during modern times is a substantial drawback.

Spending Christmas at this hotel was a great experience. I loved the comfortable and clean rooms, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. the hotel had great amenities, including a gym and a beautiful pool area.
The hotel was located quite far from the city center, which made it difficult to explore without taking public transportation or a taxi. the Wi-Fi connection in the hotel wasn't the strongest, which was a bit frustrating at times.

Possibly the worst and most overpriced hotel that I have ever stayed in. The entrance, lift, hallways and rooms were extremely shabby and dirty. We arrived thirty minutes before official check-in and were made to wait until the exact hour of check-in whereupon we spent another twenty minutes checking in. Very overpriced. Definitely the worst by far of over twenty hotels which we stayed in in Japan. There are some really nice hotels in Kyoto. This one is terrible.

The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was not great - it was very limited in options and the quality of the food was subpar. The location was not ideal, as it was far from any major attractions and required a lot of walking or taxi rides to get around.
